Events

  • ACM Regional Programming Contest (Fall)
    • CSE serves as a regional host site for the ACM North Central Programming Contest. Be a sponsor for the T-shirts, trophies or prizes for winning teams. This is an opportunity for CSE to recruit graduate students from around the region.
  • NITS (Nebraska Information Technology Security) Day (Fall)
    • Be on the organizing committee, give a presentation, organize a session, support financially, etc.
  • CSE Day (Spring)
    • Be a judge for the student design projects, serve on a panel addressing career opportunities or other matters, or be a speaker. This is our primary recruiting event for undergraduate students.
  • CSE Awards Ceremony (Spring)
    • Our annual awards ceremony seeks external judges for the various student, faculty, and staff awards.

Organizations, Panels & Other Opportunities

  • ACM Student Chapter (Fall and Spring)
    • The student chapter is always looking for companies to visit or companies to visit them.
  • Student Resource Center (Fall and Spring)
    • Participate in our Information Sharing Series that focuses on career planning, employment opportunities, etc.
  • Advisory Panel (Usually a Fall Meeting)
    • The CSE Department has an External Advisory Panel made up of industry representatives. We would welcome the opportunity to explore your participation.
  • Sponsor a Project (Fall and Spring)
    • For 1 or more students with faculty and company oversight.
  • Teach a Course (Fall, Spring, and Summer)
    • We will pay a fee to the instructor.
  • Colloquium Series (Fall and Spring)
    • You are always welcome to attend our colloquium series and help us to identify and bring in recognized speakers.
