Application Steps:
The Steps to Admission for graduate study in Computer Science and Engineering at UNL require that you provide information to the Office of Graduate Studies and to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
- You must provide the information needed by the Office of Graduate Studies as described in the Steps to Admission which requires that you complete the On-line Application for Graduate Admissions and provide other information as noted on Admission to a Degree Program
- Use the Graduate Application Management and Evaluation System (GAMES) to provide the information to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering following your receipt of the welcome email from the Graduate Staff Assistant
If you cannot submit the required information electronically, then mail the requested information to the appropriate address given below. Alternatively, you may send all your application materials directly to the Graduate Admissions Office at the address given below.

Apply Online to Graduate Admissions and Send these Items:
Online Application for Graduate Admission.
- Transcripts - Submit two official (no photocopies) transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (to the Office of Graduate Studies).
- GRE Scores (to the Office of Graduate Studies sent electronically by the testing agency).
- Financial Resource Certification Form- if you are not a US citizen and you expect to hold an F or J visa: financial resource information (to the Office of Graduate Studies).
- TOEFL Scores - if your native language is not English – English Proficiency (to the Office of Graduate Studies sent electronically by the testing agency, or an official copy can be mailed).
- Application Fee - Submit application fee (check or money order for $45 payable to "UNL Graduate Studies" or include credit card information on online Graduate Studies Application Form above).
