Undergraduate Scholarships

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering offers scholarships for students majoring in Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Application procedures for undergraduate scholarships can be found by visiting the Office of Admissions.

First-year Students:

  • "The Mary E. and Elmer H Dohrmann Scholarship"
    • Computer Science or Computer Engineering Major
    • Full-time enrollment
    • Demonstrates financial need (determined by FAFSA)
    • Exceptional and deserving student of good moral character
    • Promise and leadership in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • "The Cecilia Daly Scholarship"
    • Computer Science or Computer Engineering Major
    • Full-time enrollment
  • "Computer Science Day Scholarship"
    • Computer Science or Computer Engineering Major
    • Full-time enrollment
    • Finish 1st or 2nd in Computer Science Day Programming or Design Contest

Upper-class Students:

  • "Earle W. Schweiger, Jr. Memorial Scholarship"
    • Computer Science Major
    • Full or part-time enrollment
    • First preference to student with senior standing
    • Demonstrates financial need

Graduate Fellowships

Several graduate fellowships are awarded by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. Application procedures can be found by visiting the Office of Graduate Studies.

  • "David A. Klarner Fellowship for Computer Science"
    • Enrolled in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering
    • Graduate class standing
    • Citizen of the United States of America
  • "Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need"
    • Enrolled in the PhD program at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering
    • Citizen of the United States of America
    • Demonstrates financial need
    • Priority given to women and U.S. minorities
