Current Research Interests
Ø
Computer Systems Architecture, especially design and analysis of distributed storage
and file systems, memory hierarchy in multi- and many-core systems, memory
management, performance evaluations;
Ø Cluster and
Grid Computing, especially middleware design and development for
parallel and distributed computing in heterogeneous environments, automatic
parallelization, dynamical load balancing by means of judicious, resource-aware
jobs and tasks scheduling, and data consistency and integrity in cluster, Grid
and P2P systems;
Ø IT Support for
Distance Education, especially using distributed computing and multiagent technologies to enhance
teaching and cooperative learning.
